Nourishing the Body, Freeing the Mind & Heart: Mindful Iyengar Yoga and Embodied Insight (Vipassana) Meditation
Join us for six days of silent retreat for nourishing the body and freeing the mind and heart in a beautiful location in the Black Forest (Germany).
It’s a wonderful opportunity to get away from the external routine and noise of our everyday life and to flow into an in-depth experience. Cultivate grounded, embodied, and open presence as the foundation for inner clarity and liberating insight.
The retreat is suitable for Iyengar Yoga practitioners with at least two years of experience and will be held in English.
What will be the structure of the retreat?
We will follow the usual format of silent insight meditation (Vipassana) retreat with substantial Iyengar yoga practice. Each day includes meditation instructions, periods of sitting and walking meditation, a long session of mindful Iyengar yoga before lunch, and a shorter one before dinner. In the evening there will be a talk about the teachings of the Buddha who offered us a path to discover inner peace, freedom, and a compassionate heart. The last meditation each day will be a guided Metta practice (loving-kindness meditation).
