Props for Yoga II: Sitting Asanas and Forward Extensions
This book is the second in the Props for Yoga series. It contains two chapters: Sitting Poses and Forward Extensions. Each chapter begins with a short introduction followed by a number of representative asanas. For each asana, a number of variations with different props are offered.
The practical, easy to follow Instructions are illustrated extensively by hundreds of photos; the Effects section explains the desired effects of using the props in a specified manner, and the Tips section gives some clues regarding physical and mental aspects of the asana. The book ends with Five practice sequences, demonstrating the use of specific props for a complete practice
